ACTLAA ORGANISED EVENTS
All little athletes aged from U6 to U17 are eligible to compete in the
inter-Centre competitions organised by ACTLAA. Attendance, whilst not
being compulsory, is highly recommended. The greater the involvement
of little athletes, the more enjoyable these events are.
Please note that as the Bruce Athletics Field (AIS) is an all weather
facility, events are not cancelled due to bad weather. Each centre team
manager acts solely as a team co-ordinator for these ACTLAA events and
parents must individually decide on whether their child competes or
not. Parents always have the right to withdraw their children from the
competition if conditions are unpleasant.

ACTLAA RELAY CARNIVAL - 7 DECEMBER 2008 AIS Track BRUCE
The relay carnival is held at the AIS for the athletes to compete as
a team for their Centre. Track relays involve teams of 4 whilst throws
and jumps relays can involve from 2 to 8 per team. The object is TEAM
PARTICIPATION. It doesn't matter whether the athletes win or lose, the
fact that they represented the centre in their events scores the TEAM
points. Due to the team nature of this carnival, if your child makes
a commitment to a relay team it is requested that they follow through
with training and with attendance on the day, and not let their fellow
team members down. To download the flyer please Click Here
